Current Fields of interest:

Research focuses primarily on seismological monitoring of the surface processes (e.g., landslide, debris flow and river sediment transport). Focus is broadly defined as source mechanisms of earthquakes and landslides through predominantly seismic methods. Other research includes earthquake early warning (EEW), ambient noise analysis, and seismic and landslide hazard mitigation. While my focus is on fundamental research, most of my projects have direct ties to geohazards monitoring. Recent projects include:
